Kolpin Saw Press II or Saw Boot?

I was at WSS yesterday briefly and came across this saw boot http://www.kolpinpowersports.com/pro.../saw-boot.html and bought it, I have a spare boottector bracket so mounting will be no hassle.
They advertise the saw boot as being easily switched out for a gun boot.....I want to have both a saw and gun on my quad.
I was also looking at and considering the saw press II but worried it may be a little flimsey and hard on the bar. http://www.kolpinpowersports.com/pro....html?vmcchk=1

Anyone have any experience with either or another secure way to transport your saw?

The saw I would like to transport is a small 16 inch bar Stihl ms 250
