Neat..
I watched this guy today catch about a 15 pound pike. Once the pike had it's head out of the hole. He took his glove,(No hand) put it in front of the pike and it latched on and out the hole the pike came stuck to the glove.
Pike let go, hook out back in the water..
That doesn't hurt the pike does it? I'd imagine not..

They are like a crocodile. When they feel something touch the inside of their mouth, it closes on reflexes.

I had a broken hockey stick handle with the tape knob for my ice scoop, lots of times if I stuck it in the pikes mouth it would latch on and come out of the hole very nicely. Had them latch onto my glove too, except my hand was still in it!

Interesting idea.
I bleed every time I go for pike, fair game I guess. They are a bugger to get off the fingers.

Ya if they are small enought i usually just let them bite my glove while I am whereing it but if they are big I never thought to just take my glove off and do it get Tip thanks for posting I may just attach an old welding glove to a stick and keep it in my sled for just such a case .
