Heres a pic of a fat Grilse that I tagged on the Dungarvon River in July on an Orange Bomber, he was neon Pink and was on the BBQ two hours after I caught him.

Nice catch beautiful fish cant wait to go to NB next year!!! Caught my first salmon out there but they were all babies. Next time i am going for the big ones.

I miss fishing for Atlantics, there is absolutely nothing more fun to catch on a 6-7 weight fly rod. Maybe I'll have to make a trip back east to visit the family next year.

Nice fish, I really miss fishing for Atlantics as well, used to fish the Mirimichi, Hammond River, Big Salmon River and the Kenibicasis. Was a blast. Unfortunatly the sports have a lot of the major pools tied up and you have to enter a draw on the Mirimichi to get into good waters. have a friend that was born and raised on the Mirimichi up at Priceville, they still have a home there and they are forever told to get off of that streach of the river as the pools are owned by the sports, what a laugh, we go anyway. Problem is they can inforce it if they want too.
