Well made it through another birthday
Well guess the doctors were wrong lol  , I'm still here, and though I dont feel real good, had a great day... intend to do it again next year too.... 
Got up early, took a drive, saw some nice deer, beautiful sunrise.... Spent time with the kids, they shot some gophers, took some pics...
Did a bit of practice with the bows... spent time in the garden... great supper, cake... just watched some hunting videos, did some planning for the upcoming season... God is good How was your day?

Glad to hear that you and the crew had a geat day
My day involved around 3 hours at the hospital with my wife who has a hemmoraged retina that they can't explain 
After that I decided to take my little aluminum boat out on the NSR where I learned that if you're in a really shallow part of the river, a 38lbs thrust trolling motor is *barely* enough to fight the current!

Glad you had a good one! I can't complain either. Wife got the results from her last test and now has all the requirements met for her CPA! WAHOOO!!! Only downside today is watching a gay version of jack n the beanstock with her right now. TOTALLY WEAK!

Thank you to you all with your kind words and support, its great to be a part of such a great online community...
Not feeling great but doing ok, just have had to learn to rest when my body needs it (tough to do), The fractured discs are healing, and though its annoying, the neck brace gives me the support I need to do things.
I can now pull my bow and I am shooting consistently.
So sept 1st Sarah and I will be going for black bear with our bows (always wanted to do this) Then elk with a bow.... then a big old mule deer, then we will will see what else we can find, hunting budget this year is small, with being so sick for so long there is not a lot to work with, but I know God will provide us with what we need. We did not get away for holidays , except for a day on Hazels birthday, the kids choose hunting over holidays, so thats what we are going to do....
Shhhh dont tell my Doctor, he said my hunting days are over.... No he is not a hunter,he just doesnt understand why anyone would want to hunt, when there is perfectly good food at the grocery store........... and why I would even want to do such a thing feeling as I do.. He also said id be dead in june he is wrong again.....
