Default Scope / Sight on a .410

Hello,

I am thinking of buying one of these:
http://www.wholesalesports.com/onlin...egory=10120011

I would be using it for grouse. What I am wondering, is if it is worth mounting some sort of sight or something on it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or should I just leave it alone and shoot it as is?

Just the regular bead site on a .410 is fine.

There was one of those at the Auction in RedDeer last weekend. I would have bid on it but I was waiting for a particular rifle and wanted to save my piggy bank for it. Turns out I got the gun I was after for a fair bit less than I thought i'd have to pay. I may have been able to get the 410 too.

You could carry that little piece in your day pack and shoot grouse while big game hunting.

X2! It's a SHOTGUN, just use the bead and point it....

Nice lookin' little gun! More interesting than the old Winchester I got for my 13th birthday.

Just the bead oughta do it! Have fun!

I have one in 12g. I put on one of those fibre optic slide on sights that friction fits and notches into the bead. Works perfectly.

That would mean its hitting high. if you have to aim very very low to hit it that means it normally shoots high.

These models don't pattern all that well. A buddy of mine has one and neither of us has a high opinion of it. There are much better single shots out there in the same, if not better price range.

Bought one a year back, the grouping on it is bad to say the least. Also the sound is enough to scare them to death...
