Havent been out but for sure they are hitting big leaches and big stramers. The fish are trying to stay out of the fast moving currents so fish backwater and undercut banks. Also use the san juan worms and nymps. pretty much anything should wor right now. They are not eating much in these conditions its just a matter of putting it right in front of their face since there is only 6 inches of visibility.

the water is on the rise again big time and water levels are near where they were a couple weeks ago. there are areas along the banks that are not quite underwater again are very soft and will easily give way. hopefully you are familiar with the stretches you plan to fish and have a buddy to go with. as mentioned above keep it tight and in what slower water you can find nymphing or swinging streamers.

I was checking the online environment reports and the river looks high, not sure if its worth going especially if it rains again.

Some people overlook these conditions but the fishing can actually be very productive at this time if you know what you are doing

This afternoon the water was the highest it has been since early last week. I wasn't able to check it on Sun. or Mon, but today it was up about a foot from Saturday when I last checked.

Fishing the Bow right now? There has got to be a better fishery at this moment and time. High volume, low clarity. Chances are down.

If you are planning on taking kids any where near the river, don't. For your sake and theirs.
