Hey there bow chaser, there are not a whole whack of pike in pine coulee, and its no where near Vulcan. It is Due west of Staveley and is absolutely @#it packed with walleye! You can get a burbot or two. Smelts are the only "baitfish" you can use. Pretty silly, You can use those tiny smelts but if you have a tub of minnows u can catch @*it . Generally right off shore anywhere you wanna fish will have good numbers of 12-18" walleye, some 20-24" burbott and little to no pike. One of my favorite spots for sure!.. Obviously 0 catch limit on walleye but I believe you can keep 5 ling- or is it 10????-- I only ever keep 1 or 2

Lots and lots of walleye. Pike are supposed to be kept out by fish screens on the canal, i've heard a few got through but lots of eyes and burbs.
