Default Sylvan fall fun

I spent a couple of days at Sylvan in October looking for whites. I started off deeper and travelled around the lake with low success...lots of walleye though. Finally headed into the boat launch in the afternoon and saw whites everywhere in the shallows. Could have just fished from shore in waders. Sight fished for whites from there on. What a blast! You have to stealthy with the boat or you'll just scare them and time the cast in the direction they are moving. Watching them take it is great fun!

David, I'll see you next year at Talbot.

Those are great looking whites. What fly pattern seemed to work the best for you? Thanks.

Nice SNap!
For those of you interested in whites this time of year:
- boatmen on surface
- prince under indicator

SNap may have some other suggestions.
