Default is the red deer river still froze passed tollman

Is the red deer river still froze down stream from tollman or around drum?

Also has anyone ever fished there this early and had any luck? Suggestion would be appreciated.

Thank you

Jinx,

I am sorry I dont have an answer for you but am very interested to hear if any come up. I want to do a float from the tollman area in about 3 weeks.

Tight lines!

Late last week, it was still frozen shore to shore by Red Deer. Beginning of this week it opened up over a period of 24 hours.

I would suspect the same is happening downstream.

The RDR looks very inviting. Sucks that I drive over it twice a day 5 days a week.
