I have the 20 hp Merc 4Stroke Fuel injection as well. Nice features on the tiller and nice power to weight ratio. Makes my 12' Inflatable move. I need two people in the boat. I have only been brave enough to hit 3/4 throttle by myself. No issues with it. Motor is so clean I store it in the house with no issues. Never smells like gas or oil. Like mentioned made by Tohatsu. Just sold our 30 year old Tohatsu 10 horse Sea Hawk a couple years ago.

http://www.yamaha-outboardsale.com/4...0la-p-969.html

Maybe I posted wrong cat. Try this, categories on the side.
I see a bunch of 25hp 4 stroke options around the 2600.00 price. Shipping added of course.
I am going to order a 60hp for my current boat build.

Congrats on the Yamaha, have always had good dealings with Lac la Biche Sports. I am sure you will enjoy the motor.

so got a reply from this company in china...basically $3200.00 US and $500.00 US shipping...which is approx. $4700.00 CAN....30% down and the rest once the motor arrives.....all in all I will be sticking locally which is cheaper even though this company listed the motor 30% off...buyer beware!!!

Thumbs up Update on Motor

Well had to go to Edmonton and had some time to kill so called around not really thinking anyone had a a yammy 25hp short shaft and yup Riverside Marine in St. Albert had one...well picked this beauty up

Listed my Honda at 7am and sold it by 8am....fella was super happy but then he saw what was lying in the box of my truck waiting to be installed....

Installed it, added gas, one pull and she fired up....wind is 50km's per hour so all I can do is sip a beer and look at it

I thought you had one already. Last time I was in at the Suzuki dealer up here a month or so ago (they also sell Yammies) they had one. I would have got it to you. I think you'll like that motor from everything I've read about it.

That exact motor with a pump on it would be perfect for my little Solar 380 jet tunnel.

You’re lucky finding one. Congrats.
