Pigeon lake whitefish

Gonna head up to try pigeon lake with a couple of my buddies. We have never fished pigeon lake for whitefish but gonna give it a try. Does anyone have any spots that they are willing to share and what type of lures or wireworms I should be using? Any tips help.

P.S.: I'm gonna be using Mariner 4 with a gas motor

There's a big rocky point on the east side half way up the lake.

Lake Whitefish seem to like rocky areas for spawning, so I would think you want to head to the rocky areas.

Just be careful. That reef had wrecked a lot of boats over the years.
