Default Winter camping at carson lake????

Does anyone know if the power sites on the peninsula at Carson lake are open all year round. Thinking about pulling the trailer up there for Easter long weekend to do some ice fishing. Thanks.

I got the # for Carson lake and left a message a few days ago, but no response yet. I am not as hardcore as you and the tenting thing. BRRRRR!! I think we'll go no matter if theres power or not....i'll bring the generator, but I hate those things. Or maybe we'll do that bloodline antifreeze thing you were talking about:lol Take it easy.

hey Bearbait

Thank you for your info. Are you talking about parking down on the peninsula? If they are not open do you think they will allow that...or are the fish cops gonna give me the boot? ANY THOUGHTS? Thanx

The folks at Carson Lake finally returned my call. The campsites on the peninsula are in fact OPEN with the power on. Taking the family out tomorrow for a couple or three days to try our luck!!
