To the point at least one of them (Him who shall remain nameless) is giving away $$$. I took him for $20 this afternoon. You guys should jump in and start fleecing those sheep as well.

Bessie is a good guy, and always pays his debts. We had a bottle on the end of regular season standings. Technically the season isn't over quite yet.....and I'm not worried about him at all. Not going to rub it in either. Now, if that bet was with some others who shall not be named....I would be hard pressed not to apply salt. Especially as they are determined to put bad juju on the Flames. Sour grapes.

For me, I don't recall any specifics, so I am going to say that reading Bessies stuff all year has been way way way good enough for me.
Bessie, you need to write out door stores with that persona.
So much fun!!

I would love to see the original Oilers thread brought back from purgatory so we can go over some of their predictions. That would be a good laugh.

They brought Lazar back up. Insiders report a over abundance of Popcorn needs to be eaten.
Seriously, I hope he gets the chance to play. We have 10 games to find him a spot.

Hopefully he isn't back because Monahan is hurt .....maybe they just want to rest him up, now that they have a check mark for the playoffs....? A little concerned on that front.

Definitely want to see Monny back, but if he gets a rest till the playoffs start that's fine. Any word on Neal? I know hasn't done much but I still think his playoff experience would be an asset.
Valamaki I was hearing may be close to coming back also...

Flames
I think Neil practiced today. Hope Mony is ok, but would like to see Lazar get a game or 2 in.

Best case scenario: Monny is getting rested and healed up for the playoffs, so Lazar gets some ice time. He does great, puts up a dozen points in ten games, and is ready to fill in. Neal is back and healthy, and starts putting up playoff points like a seasoned pro. Valimaki comes back healthy and with an axe to grind, and turns into a playoff blueliner....and all the other Flames just keep on rolling as well, with Bennett, Ryan, Frolik and Backlund and Janks and Hathaway all playing that gritty game that they can, putting up some secondary scoring, while Chucky does his Uber Irritant Point Monster routine, and Monny, Johnny, and Lindy just stack up the points. Gio, Brodie, Rasmus, Stone, Hanifin and the Hammer all play crushing shut down hockey while also joining the rush to add points, and keep hammering shots in from the point....Smith and Dave compete to see who gets the most wins....Wow.
Sounds so good when you say it like that, doesn't it?

The shames have had a good season. It’s too bad they made the playoffs. Seems to me the playoffs have not been kind to them since 1989. Oh well I guess they get to play 4 more games.

What's that boah? I can't hear you since I turned on the 'troll filter'......I guess you still don't have anything to say that's worth listening to. Not surprised.....

Hard to hear him from way up here in 1st place. Nights dominated the Sharks, should be a good match up in the first round of the playoffs between them two..

Knights have only lost once since acquiring Stone.
Who'd they lose to again....?
Lets put this away and win 5 of the next 6.
A bit of a rabbit trail, but it's hard to believe Buffalo won 10 straight and was leading the league 25 games in. Its been pretty steady downhill from there, sitting in 25th now.

Absolutely stole him. It was grand theft. Basically, Ottawa gave him away. I still don't understand why he is not wearing Red.
