Last weekend I went for a drive up there to check it out as I have never been before. I brought the auger as I read it is open all year to check the ice depth. There was still well over 2 feet of clear ice plus a few more of white ice on top. Unfortunately I didn't do any fishing as I was just up to check it out and had no clue what to expect. There was like an inch or less of crusty snow-ice on top so any truck (lol in April), quad, or sled would work.

If anyone wants to meet up somewhere and go for a day or two I would like to go and bring my quad. Too far by myself.

Sorry but I didn't go to God's Lake.
