Just be aware the roasted at Walmart are needled or "tenderized". They recommend being cooked to 145 internal. Waste of a good roast in my opinion.

There is no stock left or the $5.97 prime rib at the Edmonton 137ave or St Albert Superstore locations.

Same as Costco, they also needle their meats. But every time I buy roast at Costco- it comes out really good, from Walmart - I don’t even bother anymore! Wouldn’t take it even for free!

I normally buy beef from Sobeys when it's on sale and have noticed it's tough and there's not a lot of flavor. Going to start trying Costco

Because of bacteria introduced from needling.

Good prices. People overlook Wholesale club a lot. No membership required. They have a bulk meat cooler that has good prices on AAA grade beef. You can buy a whole rack of beef ribs for 60-80 bucks. Strip loin by the whole and then you cut it to the thickness you like. I'm sure the rib roasts are maybe more expense that the deal mentioned on this thread but a great place to get your beef.
