Thumbs up Bottom Fishin (wishin)

Try bottom fishing with a weight and the hook line at least 6 feet to 10 feet.
Marshmallow and worm work well. Be sure to completely cover the hook.

Happy Fishin

If you are fly fishing take note of what insects are hatching and match the hatch. I've had good success using a Green Damsel nymph (#8) this year on the ponds around here. If you don't fly fish that doesn't mean you can't fish with flies. Use a slip bobber and a small split shot about 15 cm. above your fly. Adjust the distance between your bobber and the fly until you find the depth the fish are feeding at. Use a slow retrieve. I've had far more success with nymphs that dry flies.

You may also want to buy a book on pond insect life.

With a handle like Doc0spratleyC7A2, I'm assuming you fly fish (ya I know as,u,me). Here's a couple articles that may help you find some trout.
