Default Waterton reservior

Hey guys looking for info on Waterton Reservoir. Ice thickness mainly. And if anyone has fished it this winter? Wouldn't mind giving it a go

There is very little access to the river with all the private land lining the banks, not too sure about access to the lake other than at the dam. Record brown came out of there a couple years ago and I'd venture a guess that anyone with any knowledge of that lake will be very tight lipped. I've only fished the river with limited success.

Thanks guys I actually ended up calling a hotel there and they said no ice!!!

Are you talking about Waterton Lakes, or Waterton Reservoir? Two different places. It is quite common that the Lakes don't freeze up. But usually the Reservoir is frozen all winter.

I heard it was open water for a long ways on the north end by glenwood.
that was a few days ago.
