Calgary Slough 22X

Hello all, new to the forum, tried searching the following but having no luck.

Does anyone have any info on the lake (slough?) that sits just south of 22x between Silverado and Chaparral? Its a big body of water but I've had no luck in finding out anything about it. Looks like some Ospreys have nests perched above it so imagine they at least think the fishing is worth the effort!

I live nearby and often see cormorants on and around it and thought the same. Last week there was a jet boat booting around on it.

I've lived in the area for a while now and noticed it was only filled in recent years. Drove by it many times but never saw any action other than the birds.

Ospreys are bringing home trout from Sundance and Midnapore...not from the slough

This is true as I've noticed they fly back to the nest from from the opposite direction of the slough. I think they also fish the bow.
