Where to go ??

Please don't tell me, I realize I'm leaving myself wide open...Thx..
Anyway, I am quite a ways from Edmonton and my son has what could be big time problems with his Ford Explorer. (leaving myself wide open again). Where would you take this vehicle for good, reasonable repair work. It sounds like dealerships are maybe not the best place to be, but I do not know where else to look..We both need some goooood advice....Thk again....

It's been a few years since I've moved away from Edmonton but: there is (was?) a garage in Greenfield (40th Ave & 106ish st). I had tones of work done there over the years - zero BS, quality work, and the prices weren't terrible.

Doug, I would recommend Bettchers Auto. Been around for decades. Talk to Marty(owner) or Jay (son inlaw I think).
I have had much work done there and its quick and reasonable. No BS.

X2 A friend of mine gets all his work done there and never stops talking about how great they treat him. They have even talked him out of getting mechanical work done there when it wasn't necessary (e.g. no, your brake pads are still good for a six months. Don't waste your money by having us replace them now.)
