Default Lake Trout Video

Threw together some footage from our trip to Lac La Ronge this summer. Lots of fish and fun up at Cornhusker Fishing Camp, highly recommended if you are looking for the camp experience. We were self guided, but the guides definitely know where the fish are at all times of year. The entire staff were fantastic, we will be back next year to continue our obsession with Lake Trout!

Whoa! Wicked video and very nice fish.

La Ronge has kind of been on my radar lately, was planning to research it over winter. I might have to pick your brain a bit for info at some point if you are up for it. Looks like you guys were fishing pretty shallow. How early in the year were you there?

Thanks guys.

I certainly am not an expert on Lakers, but I will happily share what I know. To answer your question Nova, we were there in early June. If you have any questions, shoot!

Heading up to Northern Sask in 12 days and have been watching this a lot lately. Gets me revved up so I had to give it a bump.
Thanks for posting it and good luck T.F.G. on your Wollaston adventure.

Great video, looks like a trip of a lifetime. Those Lyman plugs are one of my favourites, you can't beat the side to side action. It drives a lot of fish crazy, even if they are not on the feed I've found they will hit them just because.
