Shaws Point?

Heading there this weekend. Can you get out on the ice with a 4x4 truck and do you need an extention for the auger to get throuth the ice? There have been years when you could drive out with a car and times when I've needed chains on all 4 wheels. I'm thinking that at least a 4x4 is needed to get on the ice this year. How's the fishin been there lately? I hope we start getting some spring weather soon.
