peep or kisser

reading on a different thread it sounds like guys like the kisser buttons more than the peep sights. i havent tried a kisser yet, still a little iffy about sticking something on my face while shooting. i have a peep sight and dont find it hard to keep a group at 30 yards. whats everyone elses preference?

Don't use a kisser button,just a peep sight and have no problems grouping my arrows out and past 30yards

I only use a peep but my Switchback fits me like a glove and I get two more reference points at full draw,.

Works for me.

I have both. Up until this year, I was just a peep. Tried it out, and liked it. I think having a couple of contacts helps my consistency

I use both plus the tip of my nose, I am fairly consistent with my new bow....the old bear is spot on the dot...

still having consistency issues from the last thread???

I tend to anchor with my string touching my nose/face anyway so I dont think a kisser would be much different.

hunted for the first time without peep this year only kisser and loved it my peep had the tendency to get a slight twist and could never seem to wax it properly for the fine hairs i also get a lot more usable hunting light without the peep

I used a kisser when I was first starting for consistency and form ,,,but then there's really no need for it IMO..
Unless your comfortable with it, hey whatever works right?

I have a metapeep and am happy with it.
you can use a peep to help with form as well, just get your orange or whatever colour your ring is on your site, in your peep vision-hole, and make sure it's a sound image. Nothing rangeing out of the circle ...

Different for Trad...but that's a different thing alltogether~!....lol..
No really wrong or right way here,,,whatever works and whatever your comfortable with and consistent.

If your using proper form, your string should be touching your face anyway, whats the diff with a kisser?

Instead of a conventional kisser button I use a rubber stopper that is usually used between your release & nock when shooting off the string. It is served onto the string after I adjust it so that I can bury it in the corner of my mouth. It works well for me. I find conventional kisser buttons pull hairs out of my mustache & chaffe my upper lip when I shoot alot.
