Default Ice thickness edmonton area?

Can anyone report how thick the ice is around the Edmonton area and north? Anyone driving on any of the lakes too??

smaller trout lake yesterday was 10-12"we entertained to idea of driving. Good solid ice but we were 100 yards off shore decided to just hike it.

I'm not sure I would call it good, solid ice out there. There were a few spots where there was quite a bit of surface water, and spots that you could see were wet through the snow. Still at least 8" of ice under the slush though, so I dunnow...

Glad we didn't drive out there...maybe in a couple weeks, depending on the strange weather we've been having recently.
