Default Keeping bait on with no barbs.

What do you guys use for keeping bait on your barbless hooks?

When I lived in Slave and fished walleye hard, I would trim a small piece of jig body and put it on after the minnow.

What do you guys use for all types of bait.

I use a piece of rubber band cut into really small pieces, keeps minnows, worms and leeches from getting off. we sometimes use a glob of powerbait on the hook after putting on the bait of choice. this works pretty well also but not as good as the rubber band.

Default Rubber bands

Wife saves me the rubber bands off the veggies from the store. Have a small scissors in my box and cut them into small pieces as I go.

i keep a piece of old inter-tube from a bike tire in my box. i find it holds a little better than a rubber band.

Dental wax is that stuff they give people to cover poky parts of their braces. I like it because it's pliable, durable, and waterproof. You can mold it to any shape. It's also good to cover the tips of your hooks for storage, use it for quick fixes (mending rubber tails and stuff). The uses for it while fishing are endless, and you can pick up a pack from most drug stores for a couple bucks. Better yet, ask your dentist for a free pack next time you're in for a cleaning.
