Default Meat grindr/band saw electrical question

I have an old meat band saw with the grinder attached to it. It is wired for 220v and all I have is 110 available.
Can it be easily converted to 110v ? If so how would I go about doing so ?
Thanks for the help

You'll have to check the metal tag on the motor. If it says 110/220v, then yes. You'll just have to change the tap connections inside according to the schematic on the tag outside.
You'll also have to see the amperage draw to make sure your circuit can handle the load as you'll be pulling more amps. Also check the wire size from plug to motor to size it for amperage draw.
When in doubt, call a professional to have a look.

As CBintheNorth said plus you'll have to change the plug
