And you're right, now that I've pretty much got my bases covered as far as rods and reels go, there are a number of other fishing goodies that I'd like to get. Hopefully a fly rod will be in the budget for next year. A canoe would be awesome too, but right now I don't have a way to transport one, and nowhere to store it  |
It wouldnt fit on the roof of your Jeep? As for storing it, if you never take it off the roof of your jeep then you are always ready to go fishing!

I'm sure it would fit, but I don't know how hot it would work out with the soft top
Need to rig up a little trailer or something for one.

let me know if it works, I cant get mine on the roof of the car wonder if you could mount a couple mountain bike wheels to the back, and some sort of hitch on the front and just tow it that way. haul a lot of gear too
