Default Coal Lake....any good yet?

I used to fish Coal Lake when I lived in Beaumont but haven't been there in years.....

Is it still pretty good for pike?

I might head out there this weekend
Thanks

Water levels are very low I guess. Enough I ce that a guy can drive on, a few have I guess. I haven't been there this year, just relaying whats been posted elsewhere. Oh, and it didn't sound like the fishing was all that great, but there were some caught. Hope that helps.

I haven't been for a couple years, but it used to be very hot and cold. I did much better in open water than through the ice.
