Was there yesterday, lots of flood ice. Ice was about 12" where we were. Saw several trucks on the ice in the same bay as us.
Can't really help out with the tips, wish I cud tell u what worked but we only caught a few small pike sorry.

what are you going to be fishing for? the last 3 pike like herring over smelts usually, (Ken ate them all, the pike not the herring) the walleye like jig and minnows, and the whitefish who knows, I dont fish for them.

Good access to lake on Reddleback bay, I drove to the middle of the bay on Sunday with 12 to 14". Also people coming off kin brook island out about 1000 yards with trucks. We tried jack fish Sunday morning but I chickened out after about 50 yards on lake. There was to much snow and about 10" ice. We will let Wayne break that trail. Have not tried pump house yet, but maybe Saturday.

Getting on at the Pump House probably won't be any better than Jackfish, I saw your tracks there and only ventured out as far as you did before I backed up. Will need at least 2 trucks, one to break the trail and the other to follow and pull him out when he gets stuck and I'm sure he will.
