Default where for Zeiss Maintenance?

I have an older Carl Zeiss 8x56 that just doesn't quite focus like a quality glass should!
Not sure of the production year (if that matters), but it is one of the older armored style. I would like to send them in for cleaning and maintenance. I am hoping there is somewhere in North America that handles this for them, as opposed to having to send it back to Germany.
Anyone have any experience or tips on how to proceed?

I'd send it to Germany. The shipping is just as cheap and the customs brokering is simpler when dealing between Europe versus the U.S.

While on the subject, buying European optics directly from Germany is a best kept secret, as savings of 50% is not uncommon.

Default Zeiss

Thanks for the link Rob.
I am sure that the link will likely just have me ship them off to Germany anyways, but I went ahead and filled it out to find out.
I have bought numerous optics out of europe directly, and depending on the current rate of exchange, the value can be good or at least par with what we are paying now!
Thanks to good 'ol Homeland Security, shipping and dealing with Europe directly is now easier and way faster than dealing with the U.S! I just didnt want to have to go to that extreme, actually hoping there might even be somewhere right here in Canada!

Try Trace Scope Repairs in Cochrane. (403) 651-0793. They repair many brands and are nice folks to deal with.
