Nice to see someone that can shoot. I can't stand watching shows where they shoot them once than wait for them to fall. My rule is u don't stop until they're down, especially elk. Great video congrats.

the problem with that is the massive amounts of bloodshot meat. moose was dead after first shot. A conversation for another thread so won't try derail. Congrats on a fine moose.

Good shooting man, I was always told that with moose keep shooting till they are down. I have seen on a couple occasions "over confidence" lead to much more tracking and stress.

Congrats!

Default moose

Moose are very tough, take a few minutes to die even with good high caliber shot in boiler. If very confident in your shot can be patient, however if longer shot good plan to shoot second round, they like to sometimes run into most heavy timber even after fatal shot.

This, if I know for certain I have one in the boiler I'll let him die on his own terms. A moose without its lungs never goes far. Until I know for sure I keep shooting.

Nice video.
