Default Tikka magazine rattle

Any of you tikka T3 owners out there have a rattle in your clip when it's loaded? Mine seems to have a pretty loud noise when it's tipped from side to side. I'm thinking someone out there has a solution. Thanks.

Maybe there is a clip in your magazine?

I'll check mine when I get home, but I don't think mine (WSM caliber) has a rattle. Does is sound like the rattle is from the magazine it's self, the cartridges, or something that's broken off / found it's way inside?

How old is your magazine for that gun? I’ve found that the more you use em and the older they get, they start to rattle. My 243 started doing it, it’s about 4 yrs old, and now my 270 wsm is not so quiet anymore. It just turned 4. Time to spend 100$ in a new one!

Can't say I've ever noticed any noise coming from either of mine....

It's brand new in 270 WSM. Definitely coming from the clip when loaded. Those little clicking sounds sound so loud when your by yourself in the woods. Maybe I got a lemon or something is inside. Thanks for the replies.

Suggestion: Take it apart and stretch the spring increasing the tension on the follower. Check online on how to disassemble it.

Because I almost always use a BOBSled single shot follower (insert) in my Tikka T3 .223 for weekly target shooting the magazine does not wear down with use, consequently no rattling. The magazine remains in the rifle nearly 100%

Only need to load more than one bullet in the magazine for hunting.
