Default Looking for one more guy to head to Northern Manitoba to fish for lake trout March 16th 1718 19

As the title says looking for one more guy to ride with one of our guys from Edmonton to Manitoba for 3 Days of lake trout fishing at Bakers Narrows Lodge approx cost of trip $500 plus food and booze

Still have room in our three cabins for another two guys need sleds leaving from Edmonton fishing 17 18 19 leaving the 20th of March

Nice sounds like quite a few of albertans are headed that way that's like at least 25 to 30 that I know of

Depending how things turn out our first trip I might go again in April if anyone's interested need 4 guys to get the fishing deal

Depending on work (our HDD drill stem broke off and got delayed a month) and when you go Im in for sure in april.

That's funny I actually told the owner with all this extra ice fishing season that his trophy quality will probably go down in a few years

We plan to release everything we catch maybe keep a walleye for dinner one night if it so happens we get one I plan to be targeting lake trout so probably be sticking to eating deer and moose this trip poor me.

Likewise don't like eating lake trout will eat some walleye though are the odd Pike if we get one

If it’s still the same , conservation license allows keeping one UNDER 63cm ( go figure ) regular license allows you to keep 2 under. They do taste way better than Cold Lake trout

Yes that's how it works it's also a trophy management area where we'll be fishing walleye I've already got the regular Manitoba license from this spring but all you need is a conservation for this area.

One week away for are trip and I’m getting excited for sure. Got lots to do still before I leave and I have no days off till then so it’s going to be some late nights.

Think we found our 11th guy for our group but I'm also planning on going back around April 15th might be needing two more guys ,they'd have to have their own vehicle and sleds are quads are be able to rent them up there.
