Default Golph!

OK Guys, i'm not sure if this has been done before, but if it has i hav'nt heard of it- so im taking credit for it! haha.

The game: Gopher Golf.
Equiptment: Driver = Scoped 22 centerfire or scoped .17hmr
Iron = Scoped .22LR
Putter = iron sight .22LR
Greens pin marker = bow with large, bright colored
feathers.

Hers the game. Play a standard 18 holes of golph, lowest score wins. To start the game, make sure your passture is clear of livestock and other people. Fire an arrow as for as you can in a safe general direction- where it lands is your 'green': where you shoot from is your 't off'. Once these two spots have been established, the game goes something like this:

Each hole is a standard par 3. To advance down the feild, you must shoot a gopher- each gopher is one stroke. the 'hole' is anywhere within 10 ft. of the pin (your arrow). sounds too easy? well its not. shoot to close right of the bat and youll be standing where you last shot a gopher- to close to the pin- and waiting for another to peek his head up for an hour! stadegy plays an important role. Advance to your dead gopher to take your 'fairway' shot, and so on and so forth. IMPORTANT- all shots MUST be taken from the standing position!!!(no shooting sticks)

when the hole is complete, mark your score cards and proceed to fire your arrow in another safe direction and begin again.

See you on the back nine!!

Made me think of a game a friend of myn played when he was younger and the world a different place.

Keho Lkae course down south. He knew the manager and he would go during the week when no one else was around and with blessing from management he would play a round with a .22 and a fishing rod in his bag with a 3 iron. He would shoot ground squirrels as he went around the course and cast for pike as a few holes parralleled the lake.
