fish handling is a pretty underappreciated topic for the health of our fisheries. Alberta has such a high angling pressure on streams and lakes near the big cities that poor fish handling can have a huge impact on the health of fish populations.

Totally agree....it's such a sore spot for many anglers and it's tough not to upset someone if you bring it up. But boy some of the pictures are tough to look at....we need to have as many conversations as possible about safe handling.
