Default $3.00 fly

Lee wulff Invented dry flys for salmon,of course they were called the wulff flys, and were very effective for east coast salmon. He also invented the very controversial Lee wulff stone fly, because in fact it wasnt a fly at all.molded plastic body, and parachute postwing and spun hackle spun with glue,no thread was used.{keep in mind salmon fishing fly fishing only}.Diffucult to cast as after it hit the water you had to pop it up dry on the surface film.On the trepassey river southern avalon, in places a deep narrow river The 6-10 lb ers would come up slow to suck it off the surface a joy to behold. In 1975 you could buy one for $3.00.I still have one pictured.
