Whats This?
Anyone able to make out what this is? My wife saw a cougar close to cam location 3 days ago hence the trail cam. Neighbor has also seen lynx or bobcat, not sure which.

It's going to be tough to answer definitively looking at those pictures - but pretty neat nevertheless. I guess set up a few more cameras or just wait for a closer look .....

Lynx would be my guess. Not elongated or slender, and in the 2nd pic it looks like a short black tipped tail.

All I can say with any confidance is that it is not a lynx or Bobcat. I enlarged it and I can see a tail. Lynx and Bobcat do not have enough of a tail for it to show in such a photo.

I'm leaning towards it being a cougar. The green in the background is the roof of my house. I cleaned the lens on the trail cam and set the time and date so I know what time he actually comes through. Kids will be playing under a little more supervision!!

No tail on it so it's definitely NOT a cougar.
Roughly, where was the pic taken? (That could narrow down whether it's a lynx or bobcat.)

Absolutely, lynx. They first picture that cockeyed rear leg stance is so typical of lynx.

Due to the fact the photo was taken in January of 2099, my best guess would be a Demodog, offspring of the Demogorgan. Looks just like the one from Stranger Things

Yup, got that unmistakeable tell tail stilted leg stance and body profile of a lynx.
