The Flames might have an edge in that department. No one takes one for the team more willing than a Flames fan.

Nope. You can't us my clever joke against me, it's too weak, and admits my jokes are superior. You need to come up with your own joke to hack on us Flames fans. I will give you some material to help, maybe something like The Perfect Oilers Fan (start them while they are young)....

Probably safer than doing lines with Fuhr like the old days....

Maybe that's what they need to wake up. Or tea from Nisku.

I heard some of the Oilers ran into GSP at a bar. Maybe they are trying to recruit him after getting slapped around by everyone else

Hey, at least they got a point against the Caps....so not a complete loss. But not a win.

Shootouts are awful after the excitement that is 3v3 overtime.

I've always thought they should do the 3on3 OT sudden death. Get rid of the shootout. 3on3 won't drag on for much more than a shootout will and its way more entertaining.

I think moving 3 on 3 to 8 or 10 minutes of length might be a better option. Then you're forced to either play some boat anchors, or let the speedy guys get real tired. Makes all sorts of interesting strategy ideas.

Looking forward to game tonight, I haven't watched Vegas yet. Should be a good game, hope there is some good fast hockey played.

Anybody do the right thing and take one for their team today?

Cammy doesn’t play a 200’ game but he will help your power play as he still has a great one timer and has skill. For a million bucks i think Iggy would have more intangibles and compete level even at 40. As a flames fan i hope he does not go. North lol

When you think 'short handed goal', Klefbom isn't the first name that generally comes to mind....

They opened the floodgates tonight. Sign of things to come or they're playing an expansion team with their 3rd? String goalie?

Damn it that quadruple backup goalie just isn’t doing it for those GK anymore

I’m sure Camillari is thrilled to have been traded from one of the best teams this year to the Oil but he played decent in Calgary so maybe he likes Alberta and will put some points up. Never know.

Will have to check but I think they just called Lagace up to play? He seemed pretty out of his league anyway. Oilers definitely played ok, but 8 goals on 32 shots is a bit unusual. They also lost 64% of face offs, something to work on. But, one in the Win column.

Somebody took one for the team for sure!

They were talking on 630 CHED about what a great opportunity it was for him.

Maxime Lagace, the fourth string goalie, appears to have a back injury and pulled himself in the middle of the third (he was talking to the trainers and refs earlier before that). The back-up, fifth string goalie Dylan Ferguson, stepped in. He's a goalie in the WHL with a sub .900 SV% and that was his first time ever playing in the NHL.

Unless Lagace recovers, Dylan Ferguson is a 5th string goalie who may be starting VGK's next game. Woof.
