Thumbs up 10,000

We'll post count hit 10,000

Since the start I bought a shotgun from here, bullets that are no longer manufactured, gave advice on fishing, hunting, got advice on fishing and hunting, agreed, disagreed, laughed, cried, got the news from here, dealt with the good, the bad and yes the ugly, met a few gems here too...it's been a ride...looking forward to another 10,000 more...

Yipppppeeeeeeeee

I might not have enough years left in me to get there:

Total Posts: 5,817
Posts Per Day: 1.52
Joined May 2007

Would take me another 7.5 years based on my Post-per-day count. Any you fine man did all of that since 2012.

Odds of reaching 20,000 without getting banned...............highly improbable

Well AO isn't your grampa's forum any more. It's face has changed to the point some may have difficulty recognizing it. Not sure if that makes it better. Pretty hard to get though 7 or 8 posts in a thread before someone gets offended.

A lot of good members were kicked to the curb along with some weird and wonderful characters as well. I miss the good guys, the others not so much.

Congrats on making the milestone!! I always enjoy your posts

Never worn out a barrel, get ride of rifles like I used to girlfriends

Office job in the patch allowed me to get a lot of net time especially over the holidays....watch a movie, surf the net...repeat....unless all hell broke loose.

This.... I left AO for a few years myself.

Now I post the odd time, but things have changed in the zoo for sure.

I have left (a.k.a. 'Gone Dark') also, but for shorter periods ... sometimes in disgust with what was going on here, and sometimes just because I was way too busy with other things (life & reality ).

I've been back here again for a while now, but I don't post anywhere near as much as I used to. And for me now, starting a thread is pretty rare ... at least compared to what I was doing a few years ago!

Only glanced at the previous replies .... hope this isn't a repeat.

You may need some counseling or treatment for this A/O addiction!

Curious .... any suspensions or time outs since 2012 ?

All the best over the next 10K.

Cheers

D.

No suspensions to date...been called out via PM for sharing fishing techniques on cold lake and had a few back and forths there too but hey it's all good...can't sit around the lunchroom table all agreeing now can we
Either way gonna follow the tropical fishing destinations and see what's working there as I need a place to fish now that the freezer has been topped up with venison.
