Default Quad Snow Plow Recoomendation

Hello all...

I have a Honda rancher 400 4x4 quad and I'd like to buy a snow plow to mount on it... Based on your personal experience, do you have any advice on the best plow to purchase?

I have a moose plow that I kept when I sold my Rancher . It works well. I will make it work on my current atv which is a sxs

I have had plows I converted from a garden tractor. I had a Kolpin Plow I mounted on a Yamaha Viking . I had Polaris plow that I had Ona Ranger and then converted to fit A Honda.

The bottom line is , it’s not rocket science , pushing snow with an atv isn’t really going to overwork the snow plow. They all worked just fine The best one is the one that you get a good deal on at the time.

72” Denali plow here for a side by side. They make the smaller widths for quads. Nothing fancy but keeps the driveway clear and it’s long 500m

I'm a big fan of the tapered plows. Shorter on the left side and taller on the right side. Helps to "stack" the snow as your making passes.

Warn 60" plow blade. Benefit of wider blade is that your wheels are well inside the cleared path. The benefit of less passes to accomplish the job is an obvious benefit also.

Quadavator, Canadian made, all is needed is reciever hitch. Transfer to any quad.

I modified my quad one to work with sxs, reciever mount is nice. Blade is smaller for sxs but cost me $50 to extend and some time.
