Hardy reel repair
Had my 70's vintage Hardy Perfect reel repaired by Ray at Hook, Line and Sinker in Guelph. Fast turnaround and excellent job!

Nice!
No local folks able to fix up vintage stuff?
See you out on the water!

Sounds good.
Actually, sounds GREAT!
Although rare (for you) there is nothing sweeter than the singing of a Hardy click/pawl reel (or my personal favorite, an Islander IR).
It remains to be seen if there will ever be a fish causing it to sing.

Duct tape doesn't fix everything.

That's a fact, however, if you recall I did run my older Minn Kota for two years with a major duct tape repair job!
And if you look closely at the canoe I gave you might find a piece of duct tape or two buried under lots of silicone sealant.
