Default Finally struck gold!

Perch have evaded me so far this season so I decided to get serious and do some prospecting this weekend. Got skunked yesterday so I switched lakes and tactics today. After swiss cheesing the lake between 3 and 30 feet, I found a honey hole! No jumbos but managed enough in the 9-11 inch range for supper.

Beautiful sunny day on the ice and a limit of perch to bring home for the missus!

They taste better when you had to figure them out and work for them. Grats.

Sad that you can find perch within 1 1/2hrs of Edmonton anymore.

Nice! Perch like those seem harder to come by these days.
