Heading out Winter camping this weekend

Well I have the Gypsy Wagon loaded up to head out to Nordegg winter camping with the wife for the weekend. Was out to Nordegg today and there was 3" of fresh snow at Crescent falls. We have a pretty busy Agenda:
-Ice Climbing
-Coyote/wolf calling
-Long Range target shooting
-ice fishing
-a little quadding
-Card playing
-Eating
-wood cutting

Weather Looks pretty decent too

Have fun! We were out a few weeks ago ourselves. I was sick with a bad cold so didn't do a whole lot.

Not too worried about where I'm going fishing, quad access only and it's pretty wintery out there still, 3" of fresh snow today and some cooler weather on the way. Colder weather should dry up the ice climbs a bit too.

Well we had a great weekend, despite the wind howling for three days!!

We set up Friday night "out of the wind" at the dam and geared up to Climb "End of the line" Saturday.

Here is our camp (good thing for the stove, the wind kept blowing the furnace pilot out)

Had a nice supper in the trailer and played some cards, then the wife roasted some marshmallows in the stove.


Warmed up Sunday and I did some long range shooting down stream a ways (forgot the camera), then after lunch we went for a quad ride up to Kidd Creek hill (no sheep this time)

Way nice camp than we had last week, bison hunting. But we got to hunt, so that makes up for freezing our butts the 2 nights that were down around -27 ......beauty pics you got there
