I live in central Saskatchewan and am fortunate to have the opportunity to fish Tigers in a number of lakes. Most of my fly-fishing I do here is still water. We have a beautiful Provincial Park name the Narrow Hills and a number of great Tiger lakes in there. They are a very aggressive trout species. They tend to stay much more shallow than other species in the lakes I fish. In Sask, they tend to be stocked with Splake in a number of lakes. They are fairly challenging to produce though as the cross between a brown and a brook is not easy as one is a true trout and one is a char species. In Fall colours, there is not a more spectacular fish. Good luck with the stocking programs
