Default Time to spend some money

I am in the market for a new spinner setup, and wanted some advice from the folks here.

I fish mostly for pike, walleye and occasionally lake trout. I need a new rod and reel combo. Probably split half and half between casting and trolling. I dont want to break the bank, hoping to keep the whole setup under 200 if it is possible. Might be willing to spend more if necessary.

Can anyone recommend a good setup?

6'6" med - heavy quantum smoke with Abu Garcia Orra Black it'll be right at two hundred. I swear by abu's reels and quantum rods. I have four Orra reels and before that I had cardinals by Abu. I fish in -33 couple times last winter, for perch

The reels hold up in the cold, some of quantums stuff gets sticky in them temps but there's lots of new and improved stuff out there

Interesting cause the Abu reels I got will not work worth a poop in the cold, and I bought them especially for the ice fishn season.

A good all purpose rod would be a 6 1/2 med action walleye rod, shimano rapella browning they all make a decent entry level rod. Put a shimao or a Phleuger reel in a 2500 series either the Sahara or Presidents and you should be off to the ball game.

X2 on shimano, i have a 6' something med action rod and a shimano sahara reel spooled with powerpro braid, only used it once but it's great.
