Default Might be a stupid question...

How many rods is a person allowed when fishing? My father in law asked me yesterday and I did not know. Back home he was allowed to use as many rods as he owned when fishing.

You can have as many rods as you want with you while fishing, however you may only have one line in the water during open water, and two lines when ice fishing.

in BC, if you alone in a boat you can have 2 lines in the water. Only one per person if you have company, and only 1 in the water through the ice. silly.
