Boat Fishing Within an Hour of Calgary

Hi I have a 14 foot aluminum with a 9.9 brand new mercury on the back and I was looking for some good lakes to go and fish within an hour of calgary im talking very good like almost a guarantee and what to use if you don't want to share your secrets to the whole world email me at calgarycauls@gmail.com.

Look at a map. Options are very limited. It could be argued, but Calgary is not a great place for fishing unless you like crowds of people on the river banks.

Pine coulee resivour, use small smelts or minnows and make sure you have a few packages of them. I've taken kids six years old that have landed 40 fish in an afternoon. It's almost too easy for an experienced angler.

What are you fishing for? Is the boat necessary? My secret spot is a reservoir east of Calgary, no motor boats allowed and almost guaranteed to catch pike. Anytime I take kids out fishing, it's where we go.
