Default Ruger dealers!!!! need info on the precision rifle.

I was wondering if there are any Ruger dealers on here that can tell me if they will be getting the new Ruger precision rifle in?
I want one like yesterday and I am willing to pay deposit on an order.
suppose to be around $1100 USD so hopefully it wont be much more than $1400 CDN, still want one in 243 1:7.7 twist, as soon as I can.

Try contacting Clay at Prophit River in Lloydminster.
They always seem to be able to get Ruger's in especially if its a bit of a specialty model.

Phil from P&D posted on CGN that they have them on order and to expect the price to be about $1400. Although it looks to me like its a chassis for the ruger American. Considering the MDT LSS is only $400 for that price you could put a Tikka T3 into an LSS and be much better off.

I just went to Ruger site and the only thing they use from the american is the bolt and even it is a little different, everything else is purpose designed
same trigger as well as far as the Savage take off, but the trigger mech inside is different.
barrels are different as well.
.243 has 7.7 twist witch Im sure is a first for a factory rifle.
I did read from some one that it was an american in a chassis but its really not.

I'm just gonna attach a cheese grater in place of the forend on a Ruger American and have a REAL budget precision rifle.

Not sure why people love that picatinny knuckle-grater stuff so much. Looks and feels like crap, I'd say.

Yes but practicality doesn't sell rifles today, marketing does.....knobs, buttons, gadgets , lights anything that looks like it might be 'tactical' or 'military' is attractive to the people who like to play dress up and go to the range and pretend they are their favorite movie or video game character or something.
No different than those who like to dress up as frontiersman and go to black powder rendezvous or cowboy action shooters acting out an old western theme.

Hi all,

The short answer to the OP is "yes", we will be getting these in and have been advised that we will receive some from the first shipment that arrive in the country. Owing to an issue with the magazine that is being resolved, the ETA is currently unknown.

Though the Canadian pricing has not yet been finalized, we currently have them available for pre-order on our site for $1599.99 (http://www.grouseriver.com/Ruger-Precision-Rifle).

Once the pricing is released, we will adjust our pricing and customers will either be reimbursed the difference (if the new price is lower than $1599.99) or will get the gun for a good price (if the new price ends up being higher).

Please let me know if I can provide you with any further information.

Best regards,

Justin Paterson - Community Ambassador
