[QUOTE=clarki;3485916]Caught and released this big girl in late January. my personal best pike... I didn't weigh or measure her. I've heard "she's pushing 40 inches" to "she's 45 for sure" and "about 18 Lbs" up to "30 for sure"... I hate to open up a can of worms lol but I thought I'd put it out there to a greater audience and see what range of length/weight you all think she might be??

for reference I am 6'2" tall and weigh 255 Lbs. I drilled a double hole with my 8 inch auger. hole is visible bottom right QUOTE]

If you look at photo one, which is fairly square to the camera, you can clearly see your 4 left hand fingers. Measure them in the photo and on your hand that will give you scale. Then measure the fish down the center line and multipley this by the scale. I got a fish of 92-95 cm or 36-37.4 inches. So would be around 17 lbs.

You of course could do a more accurate measurement and come up with something even closer.

GREAT FISH by the way.

Great fish. Congrats!!

Always tough to tell in pictures but it's way closer to 20 than 30. A 30 lb pike is a truly big fish and it shows in the length and thickness, even in pictures.

Here is a 29lb pike that I put someone on last summer. It was almost 50" long and over 20" around. I didn't get a good length on it as I wanted to get it back into the water quickly. For refernece the guy holding it is around 6'2" but skinny.
