Van Isl Aug accommodations

We booked a day on the water in Aug and looking forward to the fishing.
Just a heads up to those not booked yet or vacationers expecting easy rooming.
The solar eclipse is Aug 22, best viewing is from the south Island and many many hotels are booked already.
Hotels folks are saying bus loads of folks will be on Val Isl for that very réason.
Took us 4th down the list to find a room for 2 nights.
