Default Mule deer pics

Saw these in Alberta on the main road just west of Spirit River this september, first and only Mule deer bucks I have ever seen (I am from Ontario and was out there elk hunting). Was wondering what the opinions on the middle one were, he looks massive to me, the guy I was with felt the far right one was bigger, but I think he was very mistaken.

thanks

Dave

Both bucks are average mulies....neither is a giant. The one of the right has deeper front forks, but is really hard to see much detail in that pic....

I agree with Rackmastr, both pretty avg. That said, if i had to pick and that was as good a look as i was going to get, i would have to dump the one on the right.

keep a strain on er.

If we shoot/hunt for meat put in for a doe license,If you put in for bucks then let the little ones grow up we the hunters must manage the deer no one else will.Learn how to field judge the age and antler size of the deer then only shoot the true trophy or cull by shooting the swaybacked, paunchy, whitefaced arhritic looking deer(damn I just described myself).

Congrats on the Elk. Mules usually look a lot bigger (wider/taller) than a WT, especially many eastern WT's(I know, having hunted in NS a lot). Nice pics, BTW, but I have to agree, they are just young deer.

Wow BB those are some hogs you got pics of...

Dave, I have spent a lot of time up in the spirit river area and those are average bucks for the region. I have seen upwards of 20-30 like that on a given day. Still very fun to look at.
